vegas hair show weekend

so my ass decided to go to vegas the weekend that they got EDC, IBS hairshow, and the pacqiao vs bradley fight....i htought it was going to be more crowded and packed but thank gooood it wasnt as bad as i thought itd be.

Shots shots shots shots shots!

If your hosting a party or dinner, heres a nice treat for your guests. Its fun to eat and super simple to make!

Coconut lime jello shots:
1 pkg lime jello
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 cup malibu (or any coconut liqueur)

1. Boil water. Combine with jello mix and coconut  milk. Then add malibu.
2. Pour into small pkastic shot glasses

Strawberry coconut jellyshots
1 pkg strawberry jello mix
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 cup malibu

Same as above

Then garnish with sprinkles and fruit ;)

natural organic cough remedy

peeled ginger. took a pinky finger size fatty nub, and peeled off the skin.

dice up the ginger. The finer you dice the better, because you will 

be grinding it all up anyways.

Throw all the ginger into a mortar and pestle and grind away 

until a paste like mixture

my brother grows these kumquats in his backyard <3

dice in halfsies~

take 9-10 cups of water into small pot, throw in ginger and boil for 10 minutes

add in the kumquats.

boil for 15 minutes

add in 1-2 tbs of honey

the next step is to seperate the ginger and kumquat mush so that all 

you have is liquid.

i used a shao long bao paper. you can use a fine cheesecloth as well.

drink while hot! your cough will be GONE!
